International Video Competition 2011
The aim of the competition: collecting materials from all sections around the world and create an international movie data bank. With the videos we will produce an international IPA film that will show the activity around the world.
The intended outcome of the project is to obtain high quality video from a wide variety of Sections, and then take selected parts of the competition videos to produce an information video about the IPA that can be distributed to all of the Sections as a promotional and recruiting aid, and placed on the lAC website.
The content will have an introduction of the country, and then a segment on the police and another segment on the Section IPA members and events.
There would be three cash awards as well as merit awards. The cash awards will be split as 400 CHF, 300 CHF and 200 CHF.
The competition: Each section that wants to enter the competition requires sending a film which will show: 1. IPA activity in the section. 2. The national police. 3. The country, landscapes. 4. The people. The films will be on a digital media: DVD, AVI, or any other digital media. The film can be also on mini DV castes. Timetable: The competition will be announced in IEC Romania, September 2011. The dead line for sending video films will be: 1 June 2012. Rules: 1)The competition is open to all members of the International Police Association. 2)Prizes will be awarded as stated and presented at the WC 2012 in Israel. 3)The judges will be professionals from the association of community TV in Israel. 4)Notification that the entry has been posted is to be e-mailed to Eranlsraelleran@012.netil 5)Copyright: The right to reproduce or edit, video films for International Police Association purposes is assumed. 6)The selectors' decision is final and no correspondence will entered into by the International Police Association. 7)Whilst the International Police Association will exercise care in the handling of entries, it regrets that it can accept no responsibility for loss or damage, however caused. 8) Submission of entries implies acceptance of these Rules.
